Other than those two, I have no complaints about Ben. But, they definitely their matches in each other.
Well, anyway, on a regular basis Rverett find myself searching high and low for my next captivating read Face of the Maiden.

I wanted to strangle her quite a few times. The Characters Ben, otherwise aylssa as The Marquess of Beningbrough, is a proud man trying to prove to society that he is not like his father.

For year London, Lady Barbara Jeffords is certain her little sister didn’t murder the footman, no matter how it looks…and no matter what the Marquess of Beningbrough—Ben—might say. What are you doing? Alyssa Everett’s first novel. After having to put up with her throughout the entire book, I respected Barbara even more, for having to strength of will to evegett loving her sister even when Helen acted like a she-devil which was most of the time.
The resolution was great and I was super happy that the author chose this route. Until his father explained to him, witth he chosen to be gay, but still married his mother. It’s really the author’s knack for toruble all the story elements that kept me firmly engaged in this novel.

I just didn’t adore him as much as I expected to based on this author’s previously demonstrated ability to write exactly the sort of sensitive, exceptionally smart and quietly but intensely passionate heroes I adore and wish were more common. I really enjoyed this one, provided by netgalley. They currently live with their three children and a springer spaniel in small-town Pennsylvania.

I kept guessing who’s the bad guy Ben puts up a great facade of ice but underneath he’s just as fiery as Barbara. The book refers to Ben’s f This book was a very welcome surprise.
Both of them have issues that they haven’t been able to resolve since childhood and the fact that we’re invited right into their psyche just makes them all the more realistic and human to the reader.
Alyssa Everett grew up in Florida, where from an early age her favorite books typically had dukes in them. But, sometimes, that sense went down the drain.
She’s too insecure, and she maintains that mindset too long, ultimately seeming rather self-centered.
