A Spy To Die For

Sky and Jack are both great characters. It is fun to see what happens when they have to work together to survive. I enjoyed this book. For a very good reason. He’s going to get them both arrested.

I loved that there was nowhere clean or savoury in this book. We don’t do assassnis.

I would have loved to have seen more of that plotline and the secondary characters introduced in it and less of the cruise ship shenanigans in the beginning. As I started the book, I wondered what direction it would be. Maybe he wouldn’t have had to track her halfway across the galaxy all over again. For example, we get her description of her outfit, and then his description of the same outfit in the next chapter.

I liked that she made it seem like a real thi This wasn’t half-bad, really Paso mogollon de este libro. A lot of fun.

The Assassins Guild This book was reviewed by Susan from http: She plays by her own rules and being part of the Assassin Guild cramps her style. However, reading about the worlds DeLake envisions made reading the book worthwhile. Misha has been on Rikki’s tracks, hoping he can convince her to join the Guild for her protection but never expected the immense attraction he feels for the rebel assassin.

So I guess I can say that there were some great scenes in this book but overall it kinda fell flat for me. This book started off great and then proceeded to get more and more ridiculous. Credit card implants are used as currency and real meat is a thing only the rich can afford.

They are attracted to each other and have the opportunity to test that attraction. Jack Hunter is an assassin who worked for another assassin group until just recently. Lastly, I can’t assassiins much for Ms. We have 2 rival assassins, both intent on proving to each other just how badass they are and for a while they are actually pitted against one another.

Other books in the series. A very attractive inn helps her get rid of the body, and then escape the security guards on the ship. Was I invested and stayed up asassins late? I felt like Rikki was pretty reasonable compared to other romance heroines. Misha’s mission is to get Rikki to join the guild or give up her guns.

The publisher provided me with a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review And she’s none too delakr to be interrupted by one of the most gorgeous men she’s ever seen while she’s doing it. Ainssssssssssssss cada vez que me acuerdo me pongo de mala leche It is not in their best interest of their health to trust anyone, including each other.

Not really who I want for a hero.

Assassins in Love (Assassins Guild, #1) by Kris DeLake – Risingshadow

It’s meant to be angst ridden, lust repressed un, but to me it just read like joyless bickering, so when it turns to flirtation the transition is weird and awkward.

Lastly, all that ‘Misha, ugh, I mean Mikail’ Also, the ending felt a little too rushed and convenient for my tastes. Aseassins were new to me, too. This weakness shows up in little ways throughout the book, but most noticeably in a love scene in which Misha has difficulty standing up because of their lovemaking View all 7 comments. It’s an odd story, I’ll say that.

Return to Book Page. Being Kristine Rusch, the sci-fi doesn’t get short-shrift, either.

Misha doesn’t know for sure. Cutting out one or two of the miscommunication obstacles would have made the pacing towards the end much more engaging.
