I cannot express in words how fortunate I feel to have discovered Eknath Easwaran’s writings — it has given me a destination and a map. Easwaran’s books include commentaries on the great saints and sages of the world’s traditions and have been published in 26 languages.
It worked to an extent but it only meant that as my mind calmed, I desired answers more than ever. The original edition was published by in by Nilgiri Press, which also published two subsequent US editions. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested eknagh I’ve been wanting to start a meditation practice for some time, but haven’t been quite certain of how to do it. I must now sincerely do the walking putting implicit faith in god and his will.
