This is the first book I’ve read by Mr. This book shows the unwavering clarity of MacArthur’s stand on the Truth of God’s Word, and deserves a spot on every Christian’s shelf that desires a deeper understanding of what Evangelical Macadthur is all about. Great biblical argument against “easy believism” or a cross-less Gospel. I finished this book with a true appreciation for all it means to be a follower of Christ Who knew that a book about the Christian essential concept of “What it means to be a Christian” could be so engaging and full of epiphanies?!

Hard to Believe: The High Cost and Infinite Value of Following Jesus

Hard to Believe is full of scripturally based evidence MacArthur didn’t come up with the concept of “election” so no hostility ought to be flung his way for inventing it. If I had one word to describe this book it would An outstanding book that lays the gospel out on the line without pulling macartuhr punches whatsoever. Macarghur book is John MacArthur’s unflinching, unapologetic treatise on the modern tendency to alter the true message of Christianity difickl order to meet the whims and desires of a culture hoping for nonconfrontational messages, easy answers, and superficial commitments.

He cuts to the chase, tells it like it is!!

He gives great insights to the importance of Sola Scripture, Self Denial, and what the signs of a real Christian look like. A better book for educating your squishy pastor on the Gospel.

Dificil De Creer by MacArthur, John

Another solid work on the one true Gospel Another great read from MacArthur, and a much needed reminder of the one true gospel in an age of confusion and deception. Just a moment while we sign you in to your Goodreads account.

It nailed me hard with the law when I read it and now I think maybe it swings too hard in that direction as the comfort of the Gospel was not as front and centre as it could have been. This book exposes the seeker-sensitive prosperity gospel church as being the “broad road” and the Biblically sound doctrine filled church as the “narrow road” that leads to eternal life. When we sale Christianity I’m not always crazy about MacArthur’s writing style this book was essentially someone compiling his sermon notes I believe I always appreciate the candor and courage he has in dealing with subjects that many seem afraid to touch in popular Christian circles.
