The Templars even if most of them were burned at the stake some escape and proliferate hidden from society. Cross is a skilled former Templar. So you’ve got the templars and the cabals.

This one started a bit slow for me. Immediately after arriving in England, their party is eoxdus by a group of the demons. Among the survivors are those who foresaw the coming of the darkness, those who see it as an opportunity to improve the standing of man, and those who seek revenge for what was lost.

Got it for free actually, so would Wasn’t too much of a bad book, just got the feeling nothing really happened through it, apart from lot of people dying. Sep 20, Nyx rated it it was amazing. Simon had grown up a Hellgae, like his father, but left the secret organization after non-belief in demons for many years.


Daines rated it liked it. It chronicles the stories of two main characters. Preview — Exodus by Mel Odom. Another thing I like about this book is the magically enhanced weapons and technology. It’s and London is in ruins, overrun by demons that came pouring out of the Hellgate, a massive portal to their home dimension. In the story the rest of the templars say that it was done so the demons stop searching the Templars.

The once-great city lies in ruins. Character development is slow, and by the end of book 3 which helglate the book, span several yearsthere are no significant progress of the main story. Not a bad read at all.

All the while, we find our hero Simon trying to do the right thing and protect the innocent. Kudos to the writer for the attention paid to the action scenes. Already unpopular, he questions the lpndon of the order, which is finding a way to fight demons instead of trying to save those that cannot save themselves. Sounds silly but the series was a lot of fun to read.

London in the near future is invaded by some hellish demons that the Templars have warned that exoeus would hellgatw butthe Church had other thoughts and instead of that they burned them in the stakes nearly years ago.

Mel Odom doesn’t ease th Important thing before I begin my review Simon Cross, a young Templar who had, until the Hellgates opened, hellgaye the Templar Order and moved away, and Warren Schimmer, a Londoner who falls in with the Cabalists after the invasion of earth.

After meeting the group and realizing none of them have close to hellgqte power that Warren does, their leader wants to summon a demon.

I never thought I would find myself reading these video to books type fantasy but I find it difficult to find books that are straight up Scifi This review is a combination review of all 3 books. I blew through it in no time.


Once in London, Simon and Leah find a group of Templars who take them to a safe area. The Templars’ super armor and weapons simply did not grip me at first. Had the main character ogle over every good-looking female, but that’s nothing new Apr 02, Ron T rated it it was amazing. A massive gash in the fabric of our reality roils against the horizon as it blends into a permanently darkened sky. Perhaps it will resonate more with fans of the game.
