The budding romance between Jaina and Kalecgos seemed out of place and a bit one sided for a good part of the book, so its inclusion made me wonder at the purpose of it.

About this title Audio Format. Jaina had it all except the love of a good man. Jan 04, Kristine rated it it was amazing. They’re both highly magical creatures.

But man did he feel forced together with Jaina. Taking 40 man raids to pillage a village and take out its leader gives these NPCs high expectations, but as Jaina has multiple major cataclysms all happening at once, the limits of this incredible being gets pushed to its max and we see the peace binding mage go outside her borders as she starts stepping on what she feels, is justice instead of revenge.

I was a bit concerned how the character growth of Jaina would be presented but it was pretty believable and also about time, I was getting a little tired of her peace loving antics while Garrosh steps all over the Alliance. Now he’s got nothing to do because he’s no longer an aspect and all the blues are moving on.

This book is all tell. In WolfheartGarrosh showed that the Horde and Alliance would never have peace with him in place. My concerns were unfounded.

What is an Aspect, if they no longer have their powers? I understand the segue between Cataclysm and MOP much better, as well as the background of the fall of Theramore. But because of a prophecy good lordJaina was proudmpore instead.

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. Her choices again and again have made her a friend to many of the horde and to the alliance. The characters of Kalcegos former aspect of the blue flight and Baine are woven masterfully into the story as well. I knew her city was destroyed by the Or, but I didn’t know any of the details, so as a big lore fanatic I decided to pick up this book.


Journey to Star Wars: Jaina is a character who plays a prominent role in the game at times but really comes alive in jaaina novels. I also hesitate with the appointment of Jaina proudjoore leader of the Tids Tor by way of the dragon-ex-machina prophecy. This one is a must for WoW players who want to know more about the bridge between expansions and why Theramore’s Fall was as terrible as it was.

This book answer so many questions I had about the fate of Theramore Isle; and gave me such a strong craving to play. Will it change her forever?
