All in all, like the choices made by the throw of the dice, this book turned out to be extremely random and messy, and ultimately unfulfilling. People are generally brought up to believe that they are in control of their lives. So I read a book to tell me what books to read to be cool. It is more a collection of pop philosophical musings on aspects of the meaning of life.

I think the thing that put me off the most was the way it actually trivialised some extremely dispicable behaviours and almost made light of some extremely sensitive subjects. Interesting, subversive and subjective was a good read overall. It is a bit silly but it’s a ton of fun and for it’s length it’s pretty breezy. Do I feel uncomfortable calling it ‘not a real rape’ when the woman was clearly reluctant? Therefore, it makes much more sense to instead encourage people to dedicate rhinehwrt to chance, since chance is reliably unreliable.
